Coach Evan Huizenga is a 1997 graduate of Goodrich High School. While in HS, he was a 4-year member of the Varsity Boys Soccer Team and Varsity Boys Tennis Team. After high school he attended Tri-State University (Trine University) where he was a member of the Thunder Soccer and Tennis Teams. Following graduation, he returned home to Goodrich. In 2006 he was named the Varsity Boys Head Coach, and in 2008 he was named the Varsity Girls Head Coach. After 14 seasons, he resigned from coaching the Girls program to spend more time with his kids and their sports. 

Coach Evan is happily married to his wife Katie, and has three children, Lexi, Andrew and Aubree. He enjoys spending time traveling, coaching and supporting his family in all of their adventures!

Coach Carter Lauinger graduated from Goodrich Area Schools in 2021. Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration/ Management through Northwood University and will be graduating this coming spring. Coach Carter participated in High School were Cross Country, Track, Wrestling, and Soccer. Since graduating he has been actively involved with Varsity and Jv Soccer for boys, as well as an assistant coach for our Varsity Track team. Looking forward to a great season.
